When GPS is unavailable, Trak4 detects nearby Wi-Fi routers’ MAC IDs, leveraging Google’s Wi-Fi database for precise indoor tracking. Like all GPS trackers, Trak4 will not function well inside enclosed, fully metal structures (containers, etc) as cell signal will be blocked.
